In her work, Sanaz Dezfoulian paints her belongings and personal items, filled with memories and stories which have shaped her identity. Furniture, clothes and animals have a strong presence in her work, where she believes that they sometimes replace the absence of human presence. These banal objects in an ordinary environment will create a resting space for her ever-wandering mind, constructing a symbiotic relationship between the real and ideal.
